During Years 7 - 10 students will be given the opportunity to study a broad range of subjects in order to discover their interests and strengths before choosing subjects in the senior school.

Classes are multi-level and stay together for all of their subjects. These classes are taught by specialist teachers as opposed to the homeroom or one teacher primary school model.

Each year students study English, Mathematics, Humanities, Science, Health, and Physical Education

In addition to this they study the following subjects:

  • Visual Arts
  • Digital Technology
  • Design Technology
  • Food Technology

Students begin to specialise in the senior school as they work towards NCEA. We meet the range of diverse needs of our students by offering both academic and vocational courses. Programmes are individualised for students using work experience, GATEWAY and STAR programmes. Students also study using the NET NZ online network and Te Kura where appropriate.
